Your hard work is a big part of what makes DelFest such a treasured event in people’s hearts.
As a DelFest volunteer, you are a critical part of the festival experience for attendees, performers, guests, fellow volunteers, and staff. The DelFest community is built on kindness and with each interaction, you make an impact on your DelFest friends and contribute to the collective success of the festival.
And we hope you feel that sense of belonging as well! You are working with individuals with a shared passion, providing the ideal ground for lasting friendships and happy memories.
In exchange for a 4-Day Festival Pass you are required to volunteer a minimum of 4 shifts. Preferably, one per day. shifts are outlined per need for day and location. Shift times and total hours may vary. No shifts are longer than 4.5 hours and each shift allows for change over and training of the next shift crew.
First time volunteers may be asked to submit a security deposit of $300 to protect against your festival wristband, which is provided for you at check-in. Festival management will refund the deposit after completing your assigned shifts. You will be notified via email if this applies to you. This deposit may be waived if you are referred by a longtime volunteer.
After signing up and your shifts have been approved, you will receive a volunteer confirmation via email along with additional information including arrival and check-in instructions, camping, parking, and Festival Guidelines.
Please note: Most volunteer roles require you to be 18 years of age. Please inquire if you have questions or special circumstances.
